He had no right

G-d of the poor man this is how the trial began
two codefendants, and all those accountants
Jeffrey Skilling and his boss Ken Lay
They scammed the ledgers and wrote it their own way
they shred them in the company of Enron
all those workers with nothing left of their pension
they had no right to take what belongs to you
they had no right to take what belongs to you
Many falsehoods led here, numbers that needed buffering
Power in Oregon, video with Blockbuster
it was a long summer with all that suffering
no electricity that California could muster
they had no right to spend all your dough
they had no right to spend all your dough
And all my country cared
That the campaigns were spared
First it was Texas, then it was a California
then it was Oregon, and the pensions be gone
not one person even tried to warn ya.
Aaaaaaaaah love of dough
Aaaaaaaaah the love of dough
Judge of the courts, ken lay must go to jail
Falling from graces
Defense got him by the tail
Oh it's all of them with their smoke and mirrors
Wall street journal reports who is on trial today
they had no right to take it all from you
they have no right to cop a plea to you
Eyes on the trial
CNN arrival
