Capo I
The couple of times I've seen Dar perform this in concert, I'm pretty sure she's done it in DADGAD, and that's how I play it. But it's got some pretty intricate fingerpicking -- intricate enough that I'd only be able to explain it in TAB, which I don't know how to do. So what I've done is transcribed an E-Z version in standard tuning, which actually sounds pretty true to the recorded version.
Intro: (G)(D/F#)(C)(D)(G)(D)
I (G)heard love can fall so hard, (D/F#)it can bury a kingdom
(C)I heard it (D)makes the spring app(G)ear out of (D/F#)season
It's a (G)storm in a shadowbox, (D/F#)a force to be reckoned with
(C)When it finds you (D)and find you (G)it will (D/F#)
(G)And I'd not believe it till I (D/F#)loved, I love
(C)The rivers (D)sing and stars a(G)waken a(D/F#)bove me
And the (G)wind and the moon in fits of (D/F#)restless conspiring
(C)Turn night (D)to heaven (G)for you (D/F#)
(G)(D/F#)(C)(D)(G)(D) . . . (G)(D/F#)(C)(D)(G)(D)
But (G)I am going to a (D/F#)far far land
(C)I know it (D)sure as I've (G)a past and a (D/F#)future
With my (G)maps on the table you see (D/F#)I have lost many things
So (C)many I (D)won't turn (G)back
And (Em7)were I a deadwood ship, (C)my heart a (G)compass
I would (Em7)leave with inanimate grace, (C)no love could (G)touch
me
But I (Em7)live and I know that I'll (C)burn as I (G)grow
(Em7)Though it might break my (C)heart to walk (D)away and (D7) so
As a (G)moon may adore you and (D/F#)remain, high moon
(C)The wind may (D)crown your head (G)with leaves and keep (D/F#)blowing
So I'll (G)stop and I'll watch you, for I (D/F#)love, I love
And (C)then be (D)on my (Em7)way
And (C)then be (D)on (G)my way (D/F#)(C)(D)(G)
