• Update to the tour sked.
• In one of my all to infrequent reminders, Fridays are Dar-chat nights on IRC. join in, it's fun for the whole family! Details.

• April is sexual assault awareness month and Dar is scheduled to do a benefit concert on Monday, April 22 on the UMass campus in Amherst. Details.   Thanks to Julie Albano for the information.

• Reports are pouring in, okay not pouring in but people are saying . . .  Dar has said her new CD is going to be called The Beauty of the Rain.

• A couple of additions to the gallery. One is Scott Green's photo of Dar at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in 1995, it's in the concert shots section. And secondly, I tried something a little different and put together a collection of screengrabs from Dar's online Yahoo concert from Texas. You can see the screengrabs and link to the concert from the special events section of the gallery.

• Dar was on the NPR show Marketplace yesterday in a show about the "alternative" vs. corporate music business. The show mainly discusses house concerts but Dar talks specifically  about how the internet brought her a significant

• Scott Green has once again dipped into his archives and found some photos. This time it's his shots from Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in 1998. There's a link on the FRFF photo page.
• Also added a really cute photo of Dar and a young fan from a recent concert. It's in the Candids/Fan Photos section of the gallery.
• A new e-card has been added to the Dar Cards. Finally managed to meld my fondness for Dar with my fondness for penguins.

• Today is the last day to get in your Dar Birthday Project submissions to Sally Green. She wants them by 5 p.m. ET. Details.

Here's some info on Dar's show at Brown University in Providence, RI, on Apr. 20:  you can buy tickets in advance at
www.ticketweb.com or you can get them at the door. The show is open to all - not just students. Dar goes on right at noon, she is the first act, and the gates open at 11:30.
