  Deep Community  is a collection of Alarik's inteviews from the Boston Globe that shine a light on the thriving world of folk music at a time when the mainstream music industry is in an historic decline. Interviews include Joan Baez,  Pete Seeger,  Judy Collins and many more. Dar is in a number of places throughout the book. It's a fascinating and entertaing read. Dar calls Alarik "the finest folk writer in the [U.S]"

• You can vote online for Dar in the Boston Music Awards.  Thanks to Kim Bragg for the link.
• An article has been added to the library.
• Dar's Aug. 17 show in Boulder, Co, is with Asleep at the Wheel and will be broadcast on the radio show etown.
• The tour dates for the Songwriters Tour are not 100% finalzed yet, so there'll be some changes to the tour schedule when I find out exactly what they are. It should be within the week, so check back.
