My fine friends Sally Green, Sharon Goldberg
and I are running an auction on E-bay to raise money for Dar's Snowden
Environmental Trust. It'll be fabulous. There'll be CDs, cassettes,
pictures, posters, buttons and whole host of other things, many of which
Dar has taken the time to sign. The auction starts on Saturday and this
is a head's up. It'll go on for a couple of months with new items on the
auction board every few days. So be generous, get some Dar stuff, help
the environment. Everyone will feel better at the end! Get more information
here.

I'm off on a Dar adventure around Ontario
this weekend and hopefully I'll return with something fun and new.

I've added tabs/chords
for the last few songs that were missing from the tab
library.

Don't forget Dar is
on Late Night with Conan O'Brien tonight. It's on NBC at 12:35EST.
Also keep an eye on your local PBS station for Dar's appearance on
Austin City Limits this week. First shows are on Saturday but every city
has it at a different time so check your local listings.
-
It's Friday so it must
be Dar chat on IRC night. Details.
-
Updates to the tour
schedule. Looks like Dar is playing the Michigan Womyn's Festival again
this year.

Here's some info from
Kristen about the Valentine's Day show at Wellin Hall, Hamilton
College in Clinton, NY: Our office has been getting swamped with calls,
so I just wanted to pass along the info for the February 14th show at Hamilton
College. Because it is run by student activities as a part of the
FebFest winter carnival here, tickets are not going to be available to
the general public until the night of the show. There will
be a limited number of tickets available to people from off-campus, but
get here early and your chances should be good!

There's a new DarList
Poll up. The question is what type of merchandise would you like to
buy/see more of.

Well Matt at Razor
and Tie is bursting out with all kinds of information today.
-
Dar will appear on the
Conan O'Brian show this Friday, the 19th. She will perform "I Won't
Be Your Yoko Ono". Also, don't forget to catch Dar on Austin City
Limits this coming week (check you local listings).
-
An update on the Dar
Concert contest: Due to the overwhelming response, Razor and Tie is considering
expanding the contest beyond 40 reps/schools. Anyone that's still
interested has until Tuesday, January 23rd to submit your name to become
a Dar rep. The chosen Dar reps will receive a confirmation e-mail on January
24th. Details on the contest.
-
I added a new wallpaper
and moved the wallpapers page. You can still access it through the gallery.

Well here's some big news. Dar's record label,
Razor and Tie, is running a contest that will let you win a Dar Concert
in Your Living Room. There's also secondary prizes of Dar recording your
answering machine message and of signed CDs and posters. Unfortunately
(for many of us anyway) you have to be a full-time student at an American
university to qualify. Details on the news
page.

There's not been
much going on with either Dar or the site, hence the lack of updates. We
will go through the busy and quiet times . . .
