Paul Rosen informs us that he's been informed by Dar's UK agent that she'll be there for some touring in mid- to late-Septmeber.
There will be a Philly date of the Songwriters Tour - at which Dar will actually not appear because
of close Princeton date - and which will be announced after the Mary Chapin Carpenter date in that area in a few weeks.

The dates for the Songwriters Tour Dar is doing with Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Patty Griffiin are now posted on the tour schedule. A whole slew of other fall dates have also been added.
Dar has done a commercial for the songwriter's competition at the Adam and Eve Newport Folk Festival. You can look at it by clicking here (you'll need Windows Media Player.)

There's a Red Galveston acoustic Guitar signed by Dar Williams on sale on e-bay. It's a pretty little guitar and I just saw it there and thought people might be interested.

Today is the last day to download the live tracks from The Beauty of the Rain tour.

All is working well with the downloads of the live tracks, the bugs have been worked out.
The full video of Dar's June 16 appearance on the Woodsongs radio hour is now archived at the Woodsong website (along with a whole lot of other good stuff!). It's long and I haven't watched it all but there's a whole lotta Dar. You can't fast forward through it (it's in Windows Media), so it's kinda like watching it live if you didn't get the chance the first time.

Through Dar's management and the assistance of sound dude Keith Richardson, DarWilliams.net is making available six dowloads of songs recorded live during the early days of The Beauty of the Rain tour. These downloads will be available on this site only for one week (until July 16). I will ask that not everyone try to download them all today as I'm not sure if the site can handle it. Hope everyone had a happy Canada Day yesterday ( even if you aren't Canadian . . . but who doesn't want to be?!)

There's an update to the tour dates.
On certain dates this summer dar is playing in a trio format which includes: Dar + Ben Butler on guitar and Richard Hammond on bass. Richard played bass with the band at the four Dave Matthews shows recently.
