A few new dates have been added to the tour schedule,
including one for March 2005 at the Allen Room in NYC. This is what
I've managed to find out about the Allen Room:
With a picture-perfect view of Columbus Circle and
Central Park South,
the Allen Room promises to take its place alongside the great upscale
nightspots of New York City. The 600-seat hall will feature several
tiers of tables, all turned toward a 50-foot-high glass-paneled wall
overlooking the southwest corner of the park. Programming for the space
will largely be the domain of Jazz at Lincoln Center, so it's safe to
expect heavy doses of cabaret crooners and straight-ahead swing. And
with its nonpermanent stage, the hall will easily accommodate gala
dinners and "incidental" dancing. It's slated to open in October 2004
along with two other performance spaces, Rose Theatre and Dizzy's Club
Coca-Cola.
