• On July 13, Dar will be the special guest of Air America's Katherine Lanpher, and fans can go and see the interview live.  Katherine Lanpher will interview Dar Williams and Chuck Klosterman. Dar will perform 2-3 songs during the interview.7:30 (door time)

• CD Update: The release date of My Better Self has been revised once again. It will be released on Sept. 5 in the Europe, Australia and Japan on Rounder Records and on Sept. 13 in the U.S. and Canada.

• Today is the the DarWilliams.net's fifth birthday! I'm very excited about it. Working on this site has been great fun and has given me a chance to interact with lots of Dar fans, and hopefully enhance their experiences. I'd like to thank everyone who's helped with information, photos, and other tidbits that have allowed me to make the site into a great resource of information about Dar Williams.  I'd also like to encourage people to keep supplying me with photos, art, and ideas for the site. • Dar is helping to sponsor a group of Dartmouth students who are going around the U.S. playing ultimate frisbee and promoting alternative energy by riding around in a school bus, The Big Green Bus,  that is running on salad oil.Their tour starts next week. Check out their website for details and be sure to watch their short movie. It was very entertaining.

• Dar's two August dates in California have been cancelled. It's around the time of the release of her new CD and her management wants her schedule to be clear to prepare for the release.
• Dar will be one of the celebrity guests at  the Women's Campaign Fund (WCF), the nation's oldest nonpartisan political action committee dedicated to electing pro-choice women, Annual Washington, D.C., Dinner "Parties of Your Choice" on Wednesday, June 15.  Read the press release for more information.
