I'm off on vacation
for a while but I hope to be doing some updates during the next 10 days
or so but they may not be frequent. Shana Tova to all my friends and Jewish

A few new articles have
been added to the library.

There's been a Dallas
date added to the tour schedule on Oct. 29 at the Gypsy Tea Room, 2548
Elm Street. Tix will be $15 in advance and $17 at door. Catie Curtis will

Razor and Tie has sent
out the new versions of the limited edition of The Green World. A number
of people have already received theirs so if you've ordered, they'll probably
be in your mailbox soon.

appearance alerts page, including Chicago this Friday. If you know Dar
is coming to your town and doing an appearance, drop me
a line and I'll add to the schedule.

in the Cleveland Plain Dealer over the weekend. Go to the library

WXPN is replaying the
Dar-World Cafe visit this Saturday in the weekend cafe slot (10am - 2pm)
and usually that means they'll have her segment on between 1pm and 2pm.

Dar has recorded a cover
version of the Bruce Springsteen song "Highway Patrolman" - for a "tribute"
album that will consist of cover versions of all the songs off of Nebraska.

Magazine has an article on Dar this
week. It talks a bit about the recording of the Bruce Springsteen tribute
song.

The official Dar
Williams website is back in business. After a lengthy battle to get
hold of the adminstrative authority for the domain, AGF has launched the
new official site. It's still in its infancy but the site is really stylish
and well worth a visit.

The Green World fall
tour is underway. Go out and see live music. The dates are here.

Apparently Razor and
Tie is taking new orders for the limited edition of The Green World. They
say they'll be shipping in mid-to-late September (which seems soon to me!)

ET on WFUV radio in New York City. You can ask questions online at
www.wfuv.org Thanks to

Dar Williams
will be chatting and performing live on Friday, September 15 with David
Dye on the World Cafe. It'll be on all the stations that carry World
Cafe but check out www.xpn.org for
stations that carry the World Cafe. (there are quite a few).
The World Cafe is a two hour show. Dar will (magically) appear between
10 and 20 after in the second hour and play for about 20 to 30 minutes.
That show will repeat from 1-3 a.m. Friday night/Saturday morning, which
means Dar is on in the 2 a.m. hour. Additionally, if they stick to form,
Dar's edition would air again 3-5 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, and she'd be
on in the 4 a.m. hour.
