A number of new chords have been added to the Play with Dar section thanks to Ron Greitzer.

September 22, 2005

The chords for Teen for God have been added to the Play with Dar section.
Dar will be participating in a Hurricane Katrina benefit in New York's Central Park on Sept. 28. Money raised will go to New Orleans Musicians' Clinic. Click the news page for more info.

New dates added to the tour schedule.
MEDIA ALERT: Dar will be on WUMB in Boston live at noon on Friday Sept. 23 for a half-hour performance and interview. If you're a WUMB member, you can also win tickets to her Boston show that night from the WUMB website.

New dates added to the tour schedule. Dar's tour with the band begins tomorrow in Exeter, NH.
The first, I'm sure of many, articles about Dar during the new band tour has been added to the library.

The redesign is basically complete. Just a few tweaks needed but I hope everybody likes it. Nothing radical, just a little something new.
Today's the day and hope everyone who can has got their My Better Self CD. I'll say now that my faves on the CD are The Empire, The Hudson, Beautiful Enemy, and Two Sides of the River. But I like 'em all!!
And for fans in the Philadelphia area, Dar will perform and sign copies of "My Better Self" at Tower Records in Philadelphia on Sept. 30th at 1pm.

Many updates to the site - the new look is coming along. Tell me what you think.
Dar's show in Portland, Me., scheduled for Nov. 17 has been cancelled. The only band show in Maine will be Rockport on Sept. 25.
You can listen to Dar's appearance yesterday on Air America's The Revolution Starts Now show in the show's archives.
Oh yeah, go and get your very own fabulous copy of My Better Self ASAP!!!!

Changes are happening at darwilliams.net and there have been updates to a number of pages. Stay tuned, there's more to come.

Play with Dar, the darwilliams.net tab/chord archive has its first song from the new CD now posted - Everybody Knows This is Nowhere - on the newly redesigned with a slight update nothing too radical section.
The music page as well as most of the individual CD pages have slight updates as well to reflect the release of the new CD this week.
There are now a full set of clips on the new My Better Self page.

You can listen to a stream of the entire My Better Self CD all this week on AOL. Just scroll across the top and look for the CD cover (hint: it's right beside this text if you're not sure what it looks like!)
You can also listen to the whole version of Dar's cover of the Beatles song "You Won't See Me" from the forthcoming Rubber Soul tribute album The Bird Has Flown.
A new parody has been added to the fans page (it's right on the bottom).
I've done a couple of updates to the music page but it's currently undergoing renovations so there may be things that don't work. Also if there's anyone out there with unlimited amounts of space who'd like to donate them to host a couple of the full-length concerts, please let me know.

Dar will perform an acoustic set at the Harvard Square Tower Records in Cambridge, MA on September 23rd, at 5pm. She will autograph copies of "My Better Self" following the performance. Harvard Square Tower Records is located at 95 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge, MA.
